As you guys may have noticed - I haven`t been an active blogger lately. That`s because I`ve been working on a new one.
A less personal one - with focus on more inspirations, photography, music etc.
I`m over the "every day diary" type of blog.
Been doing it for years.

I mean, it can be fun to look back on from time to time, but I wrather focus my attention on posting more "meaningfull" blogposts from now on.

Our Fredrikstad Vacation

As you all know - Soli and I took a week off from work to relax in Fredrikstad. Although - it`s not often we get to relax over there. Too many people, too little time... It`s always something happening, something to eat, something to celebrate.. you name it! That`s the life in Bydalsveien 4.
Joachim AND mom both had birthdays - so we made alot of food, inside and out. BBQ, cakes and Honeymustard Duck.
We also took take a trip to sweden with Niklas and Martine,where we bought alout of marshellow candy and chocolat (which is all gone by now,btw)
Ulrikke even came to visit us, so we went to Østfoldhalden where we bought shaveice and donuts! Mmm, deliciouse! Fredrikstad sight-seeing at it`s best!

In Oslo we have got Frogner.
In Fredrikstad we have got Cicignon.

Ulrikke joined me at a phototrip around the neighbourhood in Fredrikstad`s suburbs.
The houses are huge and elegant, with an english look. They`r right by the water with a view over "Gamlebyen", and right by a little park called "sjømannsparken".
It`s quiet and beautiful. Take a look for yourself.

June was great! Flew away, like all the other months this year.

We didn`t go this year - but we did get to see lots of the pople who dressed up, since half of them were hanging at youngstorget. I even saw GREIL SUTCLIFFE! Made my day!

Soli & I found the most beautiful cemetary - just 5 minutes away. Even saw squirrels there! Our new hang-out! (We-so-emo)

Shopping and Cookie Frappè with Magdalena at Grunerløkka.
She bought a military hat at Fretex. It was awesome! And the Frappè was amazingly deliciouse.

The vacation is finally payed and planned!
In August - Soli & I are going to Sardinia, Italy!
Can`t wait!!!
We are renting an apartment in Alghero (a city by the coast). The appartment is RIGHT next to the beach.
Alghero seems perfect! It`s got everything!
Caves, white sandy beaches, ruins, great resturants, amazing nature... The list goes on and on.
Sardinia is especially known for it`s crystal clear water. You can see 20 meters down in the water over there! So no fear of running into creatures we wouldn`t want to bump into.
And you can walk from "island" to "island" because of the low water. Amazing!

SaturdayNight out with Ray & Magdalena

Saturday night - Ray, Magdalena and I decied to have a PARTYYY (just the 3 of us), and it was LOTS of fun! We started out with peach canei and popcorn at my place, with loud music and crazy dancing. Then we went out! First we drank some Strawberry Daiquiri on the top of Grand Hotell! The greatest view of Oslo, you can imagine! Then we went to Villa, where we danced some more. Even saw a couple of B-Celebs xD Then we decided it was MUCH cooler with just the 3 of us, so we went to Magdalena`s (aka Ørjan`s place ) where we continiued the party - with chocolate milk, candy, starwars uniforms, loud music (again) and even MORE crazy dancing!

I LOVE Taylor Jacobsen in "The Rachel Zoe Project".
She`s the defenition of EMO in the show xD So funny!
I actually kinda identify myself with her to some degree, both in style and personality. It`s so refreshing to see a girl who`s not "happy happy" aaaall the freakin`time. It`s OK to have bad days too!

Anyways,her career took off after the tv show, and now she`s working as a stylist /designer (?? I think) because she has got her own jeans line now.
In other words - She`s doing good.

Ps. LOOK! We even posted the SAME 80`s inspiration Madonna blogpost - with pics from Desperatly seeking Susan, just 2 days apart (i postet it first, muhaha) !! Told you we had the same taste in style!

Yesterday Magdalena & I had a girlsnight, with Mc Donalds food, candy, Coca Cola, trash Tv, gossip - and ofcourse: A Photoshoot!

I don`t know anybody else who is as crazy as I am with the camera, then Magdalena. But it`s fun to dress up and take pictures! Especially when I just bought the coolest retro jacket EVER and had something cool to pose with! :p

Last week I met up with my old friend and neighbor - Silje.
She called me and said that Korn had a consert at youngstorvet, so we decided to check it out!
But first we had some tea and chitchat at cafè & bar "Sosialen".

Afterwards - we went to see/ hear Korn (couldn`t really see anything because of the huge fences). And suddenly - while I was busy photographing, somebody yelled out: "WHO WANTS FREE KORN TICKETS??!!" ... Silje got one, I didn`t. Good times.

Not only have they got delicious sandwichtoasts and chai tea with waffles, but they also got SHAVE ICE!
And the best part - The cafè is right across the street from us! Perfect in the summer sun in the mornings before a little walk in the park :)

The Ponyo safe carpet search

With a dog in the house - NO carpets are safe!
So after 3 carpets that didn`t stand the Ponyo test - Elia joined me for a IKEA hunt after the perfect "Ponyo safe carpet"..
..and some chocolate moussè ofcourse...

We found a carpet .... and some other stuff. Lots of other stuff actually...
Look at this great "skjermvegg" I found for only 349 kr!!

Great trip! Soli even came and helped us carry! And drive! And pay even! Great boyfriend!!
So now it looks really nice and cosy at home :)

BUT... the carpet did ofcourse NOT stand the "Ponyo test".
So eather the dog goes... or the carpet goes.

Lets start with friday:
Photo Gallery at NISS - my old school. Leila was there with her pictures - looking gorgeous with red lips and a long white dress.
So were Ilone (one of my old classmates). Great gallery!

Afterwards we went to Friday`s (on a friday! The irony kills me xD) where we met up with more friends and had a few drinks and milkshakes.

Saturday:
I worked on saturday, and it was a busy day at the salon indeed. So when I came home - I collapsed on the coach ....
..for a couple of hours...
Then I were social again xD
Olav and Beate came to join Soli, Øyvind and me for a movie night. We watched "Domino", while we ate candy and had fun with my iphone app "make-over".

And then there was sunday:
Sunday was a fun day! (ha-ha, it rimes)
Ulrikke,Ray and I went to Cocoa at Grunerløkka, where I had my favorite hot chocolate with marshmellows! Mmmmm!
Then we ate chicken permesan a`la Soli, and rounded the evening off with a scary-movie a`la Ray. This time we saw "A serbian film" - with fucked me up for life. Thanks Ray - I will never have a good night sleep - ever again xD

That was my weekend. Can`t wait til the next! This weekend we are going to Emilie and Håvard`s costume party! I havent decided what to wear yet - but Im thinking something with a wig. Maybe a mermaid or something? Martine and I are going to have a hobby-night tomorrow, where we are going to make our own costumes!
And on sunday - Im hoping for sunny weather, cause its going to be lots of stuff happening in FrognerParken, because of the "miljø festival". It`s really for kids - but hey, IM GOING!

Martine talked me into working out - EARLY - at Elexia Lambertseter today!
Why would I go aaaall the way up there, you may wonder, when I have an Elexia center 2 minutes away , right here at majorstua? Well, I wondered the same thing....
I was like: "Really??" And she was like: "Yeah, they have a FREE SPA up here, with a jacuzzi and everything!!" And I was like: "Shut UP!??" And she was like: "Im totally serious!" And we were like : "Fuck YEAH"........

But seriously.... it was worth the trip! Not only did they have a jacuzzi, with a steaming room etc, but they also had massage chairs!!

After the work out, we went back to Martine`s place at Bekkelaget, where we ate breakfast with the greatest view ever - overlooking the entire city! Not a bad way to start the day! Mozarella and tomato baguettes! Mmmm....

It`s no secret that my guilty pleasure is to feed my brain with reality tv. And lately - "Audrina" has been the show to watch! (SpinOff series from our beloved MtvShow "The Hills")

It`s pretty much a show about Audrina`s life after The Hills...
Family drama, boyfriend drama, drama drama ... what`s not to love?
I love drama ... as long as Im not in it myself xD

Besides, I can watch the show only based on Audrina`s hair alone.
It`s freakin AMAZING!

The Vampire Lestat

Everybody who knows me - knows that I have a huge crush on Lestat. He`s my favorite vampire of all time.
I love him in Queen Of the Damned, where Stuart Townsend plays him. So evil, so selfish, so vampire. Unlike the wussy vampires of todays`Twilight, vampire diaries, etc. (Not that I dont like the movies... Just dont like the wussy vampire attitudes..)
Nope, Lestat keeps it real!
And I sooo badly want the Anne Rice book in the series The Vampire Chronicles - "The vampire Lestat"- to become a movie as well, just as "The Interview with a Vampire" and "Queen of the damned" were...

And I know for sure now who I want to play him in the movie...

Not only does he look like a vampire, with evil dark eyes and an evil smirk as a smile, but he`s also french - just like Lestat de lioncourt.
Can`t SOMEBODY out there just make the movie already - and cast Baptiste as Lestat??!

Today - Soli, Ray and I had our own little barbeque in the backyard. Soli had prepaired some Asian special food : Satè - chicken with peanut chilli sauce.
And while Soli were making the food - Ray and myself stood for the entertainment: Riverdancing and Elvis karaoke!

Happy birthday, Norway!!
A bit late with this blogpost, but I have been kinda busy lately. Back and forth between Fredrikstad and Oslo all the time. My head is still spinning...
But is has been a great celebration!

Started the day with champagne breakfast on the porch in the sun.

Soli and I were dressed up from top to toe xD

And with pins ofcourse....

Mom and Per Olav were also dressed up and looking nice ;)

After breakfast we went to the park, where we wacthed the parade. Tradition is tradition.

Then we went to a resturant where we had a "v.i.p table" reserved for us, since we know the owners of the place. Good thing to have some connections this day,or else we would never get a table. Too many freakin people everywhere!
But we got a table by the water, so we had a great view while we ate. And we ATE! Burgers, strawberrys, ice cream... you name it!

After the dining, Soli and I went for some shopping! Bought candyfloss (tradition) and a painting of "breakfast at tiffany`s" for only 100 kr! Great spendings...

Theeeen we went home and spent the rest of the day with Ponyo and the family :) Great day!

Soli is currently in Kristiansand, so Im planning to fill up our appartment with my girlfriends!

Earlier today, I went shopping with Snorre & Magdalena. Everyone is still looking for an outfit for the 17`th of may (eccept from me, who already has my costume all lined up - and waiting in the closet). So we found a gorgouse,white dress for Magdalena at BikBok, and a handsome, blue shirt for Snorre.
Me - on the other hand, is still poor - but got myself a little t-shirt from BodyMap.

Then I met Helene, and we went back to my place, where we ate italian pizza and LOTS of candy & ice cream, while we watched movies! Great times!!

Tomorrow I will have another girlsnight- this time with Martine & Ulrikke. We are going to bake cakes! Or...at least eat them xD It usually ends up with us buying the dreamy chocolate cake from Deli De luca! But we`ll see! Still have alot of candy, icecream & sweets from tonight alone to eat up!
Im going to be so fat in the end of this weekend!

This week has been amazing!
Filled with free days, girlnights, movies, games, cafès, walks, candy, great food and great friends!
Cant belive how hot it is outside! 21 degrees! We had to eat LOTS of Ben & Jerry`s ice cream just to STAND the heat xD Hard life..

I have the worst memory theese days for some reason, so I have no idea what I did on what day - but I have been socializing with Thomas, Snorre, Martine, Birger, Magdalena, Julik, Ulrikke, Linnea and Ray.

Ponyo and I were emo in the park today. He didnt play with any dogs, and I didnt play with any friends. Tho - he DID torment some ducks. He thinks it`s really funny to run after them and scare them half to death.

This year - both mom and Per Olav are turning 50! So they decided to celebrate it together - with a huge party!
So we went to Fredrikstad - again - this weekend, to join the celebration. It was ALOT of people there. Felt like I was in a wedding or something, with all the speeches, dressed up people and fancy food.
I was supposed to videotape the whole thing, but kinda fell out halfway in. So I didnt get to take any pictures!
